Standard sizes run from small family units to large reception halls. Any other size can be made on request, so if your venue has a fixed lawn or courtyard, send us the measurements.

Every size shares the same profile: a central height of 3.00 m and side walls of 1.70 m. The steady 3 m peak gives room for chandeliers and string lights, while the 1.7 m wall keeps the edges usable for seating.

Canvas, inner fold and lining options

What makes a deluxe tent feel deluxe is the interior. Guests rarely see the outer canvas from inside; what they see is the fold, the colour of the lining and the way light falls through it.

Buyers who need a fully white, modern look for corporate events often pair or replace the SDT/11 with a marquee tent, which uses heavier white canvas and taller poles.

The SDT/11 can be ordered with central iron poles, or with a mix of wooden and iron poles. Iron poles are stronger and more durable; wooden poles look warmer inside a decorated tent and are popular with traditional tent houses. In both cases the tent comes with all its accessories so it can be pitched on arrival.

Planning guests and layout in a deluxe tent

The first question every host asks is "how many guests will fit?" The honest answer depends on how the space is used. The figures below are approximate industry rules of thumb, not fixed limits; actual capacity changes with table shapes, stage size, buffet lines and local safety rules.

For a seated walima of around 400 guests with a stage and buffet inside, you would therefore plan roughly 650–800 m², for example an 18 × 30 m tent plus a 9 × 30 m tent joined or placed side by side. Smaller 5 × 8 m units are often set beside the main hall as a kitchen, serving or washing area.

Layout tips

• Keep at least two clear exits in large tents and do not block them with tables.
• Place the stage at one short end so all guests face it along the length.
• Run the buffet along a side wall to keep queues out of the seating area.
• Locate cooking outside the tent, under a separate serving unit.

Setting up the SDT/11 at a venue

1. Mark the footprint on level ground, leaving space around the tent for ropes and pegs.
2. Lay the PVC-coated groundsheet and spread the canvas on top.
3. Raise the central poles first, lifting the roof to its 3.00 m height.
4. Fit the side poles to bring the walls to 1.70 m, then peg and tension the ropes evenly.
5. Hang and smooth the inner fold so prints line up; then add carpets, lights and furniture.

Check the weather forecast. If there is a chance of rain, use the waterproof canvas version and keep ropes slightly slack, as canvas tightens when wet. Never leave a tent pitched in strong wind without checking pegs and ropes.

In summer, shade is the priority: open one wall panel, use the lighter grey canvas and add pedestal fans along the sides.
