How to contact Curiotex today

The quickest way to contact Curiotex is by phone or email. Our current number is +92 317 8885522, and it replaces every older landline printed on previous brochures, trade directories and the earlier version of this website. If you have saved an old number, please update it, because those lines are no longer in service. Written messages go to info@curiotex.com, which is read by the sales team and forwarded to the right department.

Contact person: Haji Ghulam Hasan

Our contact person for buyers is Haji Ghulam Hasan, who has followed the business since the family began making canvas in 1975. Whether you are a relief procurement officer, an importer in the Gulf, a distributor in West Africa or a contractor in Punjab, you can reach the same team that plans production and dispatch.

Choosing the right channel: phone, email or inquiry form

Each way of reaching us suits a different kind of request. Picking the right one saves time on both sides.

Phone and WhatsApp

Best for quick questions, checking that a message arrived, or talking through an urgent relief requirement. Voice notes and photos of a damaged tarpaulin or an old tent you want copied are welcome on WhatsApp.

Email

Best for tender documents, drawings, specifications and anything you need on record. Attach PDFs, technical sheets or bid forms and we will reply in writing.

Online inquiry form

Best for a first quotation request. The inquiry form prompts you for product, quantity and destination, so nothing important is missed.

Many buyers combine them: they submit the form, then send a follow-up email with drawings, then call to discuss options. That is perfectly fine. Just mention your company name in every message so we can link them together.

What to include when you contact Curiotex about an order

A detailed first message lets us return a meaningful answer instead of a list of follow-up questions. The more of these points you can cover, the faster we can quote.

  • Product and model — for example a family ridge tent, a marquee, a truck cover or a fabric construction.
  • Size or dimensions — standard sizes from our product pages, or your own drawing.
  • Fabric weight — in gsm for tents and fabric, or ounces for tarpaulins and truck covers.
  • Colour and finish — natural white, olive green, other shades, waterproof, rot-proof or fire-related requirements.
  • Accessories — poles, pegs, groundsheet, inner tent, carry bag, eyelets or ropes.
  • Quantity — even a rough range helps with pricing and lead time.
  • Destination and delivery date — port or city, plus when the goods must arrive.
  • Preferred trade term — EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF; see our shipment guide if you are unsure.

Tender buyers: please send the complete technical specification and any mandatory forms in the first email. Partial specifications often lead to a quote for the wrong fabric weight or accessory set, which wastes valuable days before a bid deadline.

Visiting our Lahore sales office in Gulberg

Our sales office is at PL-20 Siddiq Trade Center, Gulberg III, Lahore 54000. Gulberg is one of Lahore's main commercial districts, and Siddiq Trade Center is a well-known business building, so most taxi and ride-hailing drivers will recognise it. The office is where buyers usually meet us to look at fabric swatches, tarpaulin samples and catalogue material, and to discuss specifications and terms face to face.

Visiting buyers from abroad generally fly into Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. From there, Gulberg is a short drive through the city. Hotels in Gulberg and nearby areas make it easy to combine an office meeting with a factory tour on the following day.

Please call or email before you come so that the right person is available and the samples relevant to your project are ready. A meeting without notice may mean the staff who handle your product are at the factory.

Seeing the Kasur canvas factory for yourself

Our factory and head office stand at Street #8, Abu Ayoub Ansari Town, Kasur 55050. Kasur is a historic city lying south-east of Lahore, close to the border with India, and it is reachable by road from Lahore; journey time depends on traffic and the route taken. Visitors normally travel from Lahore by car; we can advise on the route when you book.

The factory brings together all the in-house production units: yarn doubling, weaving, dyeing, stitching and packing. Walking the floor lets buyers see how canvas is woven from twisted yarn, how colours are fixed, and how a tent or tarpaulin is cut, sewn, fitted with eyelets and packed for export. Many importers find that a visit gives them confidence in the product long before the first container arrives.

Planning a factory visit

  1. Email or call to propose dates and tell us which products interest you.
  2. We confirm a day and suggest whether to start at the Lahore office or go straight to Kasur.
  3. Bring your specifications, sample pieces or drawings so we can review them on the spot.
  4. After the visit we send a written summary and, where relevant, a quotation or sample plan.

Which team handles your request

Curiotex is a family-run manufacturer, and messages arrive at one central inbox and phone line. Internally, though, different people look after different stages of an order, so it helps to state clearly what you need.

What to expect after you get in touch

We aim to acknowledge messages promptly during Pakistani business hours, and a straightforward price request for a standard product can often be answered quickly. Custom items, unusual fabric constructions and large tenders take longer, because we may need to cost yarn, weaving time, finishing and packing before giving a figure we can stand behind. We would rather send an accurate quotation a little later than a fast one that changes.

Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5. Buyers in the Gulf are one or two hours behind us; buyers in West Africa are four to five hours behind. If your message arrives late in our evening, expect the reply on the next working day. Friday afternoons can be shorter because of congregational prayers, and public holidays such as the two Eids may slow replies for a few days.

If you have not heard back in what feels like a reasonable time, please call +92 317 8885522 to check. Occasionally attachments are blocked by spam filters, and a quick call resolves it.

Meeting Curiotex at industry fairs

Besides the office and factory, we display our products at some major industry fairs. These events are a chance to handle canvas samples, compare fabric weights and talk with the team without travelling to Pakistan. Because fair participation varies from year to year, ask us by email which events we plan to attend, and we can arrange a meeting time at the stand.

If you meet us at a fair, keep the business card and mention the event when you follow up. It helps us pick up the conversation where we left off.

Contacting us during an emergency relief response

When a flood, earthquake or conflict displaces families, procurement teams work under heavy pressure, and a slow back-and-forth by email can cost days. If your organisation is buying shelter for an active emergency, call +92 317 8885522 first and follow up in writing. Say clearly that the requirement is for an emergency, give the tent model or pattern you need, the number of units, and the place and date by which the first lot must arrive.

We will tell you honestly what is realistic. Production of relief tents still requires weaving, stitching and packing time, and the usual lead time is 30 to 45 days from product approval depending on quantity. Where a phased delivery helps, we can discuss splitting an order into several lots so that an early batch can move by air or charter flight while the balance follows by sea. Our refugee tent range describes the family ridge, single-pole and winterized designs most often requested in these situations.

Sending us a sample or reference item

Some buyers find it easier to post a physical piece than to describe it. A cut of the fabric you currently buy, an old tarpaulin corner with its eyelet, or a bag you want reproduced tells our technical staff a great deal: weave, yarn count, weight, coating and stitching method. Courier the item to the Kasur factory address or bring it to the Lahore office, and email us at the same time so we know it is on its way.

Label the parcel with your company name and a short note of what you want us to match or improve. Once we have examined it we will confirm which of our constructions is closest, or whether a new sample needs to be developed. Sample development typically takes around two weeks; our FAQ page explains how sample charges work.

Six details that turn a first message into a quotation.

Making sure you are dealing with Curiotex

Online trade platforms sometimes carry outdated or copied listings for well-known manufacturers. To be certain you are talking to us, use only the phone number and email address shown on this page and on curiotex.com. Our official email domain is curiotex.com; we do not ask buyers to pay into accounts sent from free webmail addresses.

Bank details always appear on our proforma invoice. If you receive a message claiming that our banking details have changed, do not pay; call +92 317 8885522 and confirm directly with our team first. This simple check protects both sides from invoice fraud, which affects importers worldwide.

Next steps once you have made contact

After the first exchange, a typical buyer moves through a few stages: clarifying the specification, approving a sample if needed, agreeing a price and payment terms, and then confirming the order. New customers usually pay by Sight L/C or 70% advance. Production generally takes 30 to 45 days from product approval, depending on quantity, after which goods ship by the mode you select.

To understand those stages in more detail, read our buyer FAQ or browse the product range, including canvas tents for relief, military and events. When you are ready, the Send Inquiry page is the most direct route to a quotation.

Questions before you contact Curiotex

What is the current phone number for Curiotex?

Our working number is +92 317 8885522, available for calls and WhatsApp. Any landline shown in old directories or brochures is no longer in service, so please update your records. For written requests use info@curiotex.com.

Who should I ask for when I call?

Ask for Haji Ghulam Hasan, our contact person for buyers. If he is unavailable, any member of the sales team can note your requirement and arrange a call back, so please leave your name, company and the product you are interested in.

Where exactly is the Curiotex factory?

The factory and head office are at Street #8, Abu Ayoub Ansari Town, Kasur 55050, Punjab. Kasur lies south-east of Lahore near the Indian border and is usually reached by car from Lahore. Contact us before travelling so we can confirm directions and arrange a guided tour.

Can I visit without an appointment?

We recommend booking. Staff responsible for your product may be at the factory or in meetings, and preparing relevant samples takes a little time. A short call or email a few days ahead makes the visit far more productive.

How quickly will I receive a quotation?

Standard products with clear specifications can often be priced quickly. Custom sizes, special fabric constructions and large tenders need more time for costing. We do not promise a fixed turnaround, but we keep you informed and will tell you if more details are needed.

Can I send drawings or specifications by WhatsApp?

Yes, photos and short documents are fine on WhatsApp for a first look. For formal tenders or detailed drawings, email info@curiotex.com as well, so the files are kept on record and can be shared with the production team.

Which languages can I use to contact Curiotex?

English is used for all export correspondence. Our team also speaks Urdu and Punjabi. If your tender papers are in another language, such as Arabic or French, let us know in advance so we can arrange how best to review them.

Do you meet buyers at trade fairs?

We display at some major industry fairs. Participation changes from year to year, so email us to ask which events we plan to attend and to book a meeting time at the stand.

Should I use the inquiry form or email?

Either works. The inquiry form guides you through the key details, while email is better for attaching drawings and tender documents. Many buyers send the form first and follow up with files by email.

Planning a tent, tarpaulin or canvas order?

Share the quantity, size, fabric weight and destination port. Our export desk replies with specifications, lead time and a quotation.
